The plight of man was inevitable. They seemed to have killed themselves through pollution and their perverse ways of going against natural law. Although the humans took many creatures of the earth down with them, nature made a huge comeback. Lush plants grew over the remains of man-made ghost towns and the animal population for nearly every species rose with intensity. Happiness bloomed with every growing sprout or every birth of another animal for this meant that balance would be coming in due time. Order would be restored and food chains would be mended. But not everyone has a happing ending much like the humans. A new enemy, something no one expected, is taking deep strides in killing of the millions of repopulated animals and abundant plant growth. The climate for all biomes has risen immensely and everywhere animals are dying. Why? It seems the humans have left an ongoing legacy of death for every tree and creature. Global warming from centuries of pollution has affected the planet and no one is sure how to stop the devastating effects. Some stronger animals have learned to cope with the disaster and others have fallen prey to the scorching heat. But the terrifying truth is, nothing lasts forever. |
